2013 – Why I Fell In Love – Utkarsh Gaurwhen Class IX–B

I remember the day I fell in love, With a beautiful girl,
With hair of blonde, dressed and curled
Eyes of deep blue with flecks of green.
To know her completely, was my dream.
I prepared myself totally,
To be her friend
And to tell her my feelings, would never end.
She was as beautiful as the sea,
So I was unable to look away.
She was as pleasant as nature,
As active as a bee.
Her smile meandered like the river Nile
Her lips were bows of scarlet red,
And she thrilled me with whatever she said.
She paralyzed me
With her beautiful eyes.
I dreamt about her all night long,
In it, she was in trouble,
And I came like a gallant hero to fight.
My life without her is meaningless,
Without her I feel hopeless.
To make her smile
I can make a bubble out of water.
I can make impossible, possible for her.
But the problem was I was poor.
Then I made one thing sure,
That I would work hard….. for her.
But she fell ill,
And I lost all of my will.
She recovered… and married another!
I cried and cried and cried
Why did I fall in love?
Why did I fall in love!!?
Why fall in love?
